CVS vs. Walgreens. I have been a shift supervisor at CVS for almost 2 years now. I recently transitioned into the pharmacy but still work one day up front. Management has been terrible at trying to transfer me back to the pharmacy fully. I got an offer at Walgreens for full time $21.50/hr for the summer then $16 in September.Pharmacy technicians and pharmacists both deserve to be paid more for all that they have done and continue to do. DEA doesn't allow for call in scripts on controlled substances to any pharmacy. Prescribing over state lines can also vary from state to state cause of the individual BOP.Its called Phlex and the store can have a remote pharmacist f1 and f4. When theres unclear directions or anything, the remote pharmacist just bypasses it and leaves it for the store to resolve. The remote pharmacist doesnt need to resolve anything if its rejected by insurance.
