If you picked the weapon power, you'll need to respec. If some of her levels weren't in paladin, then she needs to do more paladin. You have to have an animal companion. Paladins can choose either a horse or divine weapon bond at level 5.Playing on normal as always, and I don't bother customizing my companion stats. I always leave this part on autopilot.
