Picked up a G3 and it does not work with the cetme front sight. But I did get a cetme C barrel from apex. Or sarco. Can't remember. Work got in my way so my projects are on the back burner. I did get my flat bent and need to work on it some to get the bolt to drop free. When I was building my CETME, Holescreek's tutorials listed a depth measurement of the barrel being around .015 proud of the trunnion breechface. I found that to be pretty much spot on.
