Contaminates on the sensor could cause it to read incorrectly. I'd try taking the wheel apart and cleaning the ABS sensor. You just remove the wheel, brake caliper and then the rotor to access this area.Yes, this can happen. If it does occur, you must stop, turn off the engine, and restart to reset the system. You have ABLS. If you have the VDC system you would have an off button for it. It is only available with automatics. The ABLS system is different. I have it and there is no shutting it off (easily).
