2008 Honda Odyssey - P3437 Code After Replacing VTEC Solenoid Gaskets. As the title states, replaced gaskets and now have the dreaded code. From looking up the issue this seems to be a common problem. 150,000 miles and no issues with the van up until this point but wanted to fix the leak so the alternator wouldn't be ruined.Yeah these valve cover gaskets are a pain. It is usually the spark plugs tube seal or seals that are leaking. That is alot of oil to lose. I would take it valve covers off again and redo it. As for the VVT, idk what codes it is throwing but I would just replace the gaskets and clean it out.
